Wildfire’s appreciation for the Native American flute runs deep from her ancestral roots. She shares her love for the Earth through Fire dancing & music, and has enjoyed playing this beautiful instrument for over 20 years.
This debut C is a compilation of Wildfire’s original songs, composed and performed on the flute collection of (the late) Rex A. Begaye.
As a traditional Navajo artist, his work is an inspiration to the world, igniting Wildfire’s musical passion as a recording artist. She honors him by dedicating this CD in his memory, for the “Path off Beauty Legacy” he leaves behind.
Wildfire has co-hosted the local WSLR Indigenous Sounds Community Radio station in Sarasota Florida. By night she’s a fire dancer & by day a gifted flute player.
